Commercial Kitchen Equipment Repair Technician

Phoenix Used Restaurant Supply is Looking for Experienced Commercial Kitchen Equipment Repair Technicians Who Specialize in Cooking Equipment and/or Commercial Refrigeration Repair.

Experienced is Required. $30-60K DOE.

This job requires work in Commercial Kitchen environments such as, Hospitals, Schools, Restaurants, Fast Food Establishments, Nursing Homes/Communities and Business/Corporate Dining/Cafeterias.

Duties include Repair & Service, Preventative Maintenance and Installation of “Hot Side” and/or “cold side” Commercial Kitchen & Restaurant Food Preparation Equipment such as,Ovens, Steamers, Dish machines, Fryers, Ranges, Grills, Steam Wells, Refrigerators, Coolers, Freezers and so much more.

 

This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment.

  • Troubleshoots and repairs commercial cooking equipment and/or refrigeratio
  •  Communicates with branch office to order parts for repairs.
  • Communicates with customer and branch office regarding status of repairs.
  • Completes service tickets according to procedures.
  • Monitors truck stock to insure required parts are stocked on vehicle.
  • Maintains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms representative of Whaley quality.
  • Meets reasonable on-call requirements.

 

Requirements

A basic understanding of Electric, Electronics, Steam, Gas and Plumbing. Troubleshooting and good Mechanical skills are a must. Customer Service skills and communication must be outstanding.

 

Basic Qualifications

Valid AZ Drivers License & Willingness / ability to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends

 

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant technical training, licenses, and/or certifications (ie. CFESA)_ Commercial cooking equipment repair and/or commercial refrigeration experience. Self-motivated with a proven ability prioritize and work independently with minimal direct supervision.
